Their track record with these switch pokemon games is forcing me to wait and see how many bugs it will launch with.

I enjoyed the first Legends game, but it’s a very interesting choice for them to say that this is both a Legends game and takes place entirely in a city. I’m not quite sure how they can grow the systems they built in the first one while in a city.

I’m not sure that I want something much more ambitious and different than the first Legends game, I just wanted that game polished to a sheen and with more Pokemon and content.

I’m assuming they’re gonna crazily expand the city to feel game size. So a few NYC central parks-alikes for typical forest pokemon, some aquariums and a coastline for water types, some dark alleys for dark type. Something like that maybe?

TBH I’m just sad it’s not a normal remake. Gen 3 was my favorite because that’s the one I played as a kid, but gen 5 is when I got into competitive battling and farming so I really enjoyed it as well.

Pokémon is really a master class in how you can sell a terrible product with enough advertising and strong branding. It doesn’t matter that Pokemon games are terrible, fans are so into the brand that they will keep buying it.
