I did, Manjaro Linux on a laptop that started on windows 8. I did have meny teacher get upset I was not using the programs they recommend. I did CIT with a minor in web dev and design. It was not always easy but I feel it was worth it when my Uni used proctorio to do testing remote. Protorio is basically a virus or almost a rootkit. I was able to do my testing in-person because I didn’t own a windows or Mac computer.

There are some projects to bring steam games to android. Like Pluvia.

I am using whoogle as a front end for Google search, I want to set up searx but don’t have the skill right now.

If they have a YouTube version I use https://www.podtube.me/ to make an RSS feed and put it in my Podcast player of choice.

It is not Windows I hate, it is the people how have not idea how people want to use there computer makeing the choices with where it is going.

For me it was Ubuntu on a laptop in early 2000 my family was going to trash because it had viruses on it.

I don’t like him because I feel like they just do very surface level stuff. Every now and again they do some good stuff. But for the most part it feels like they just take the easy stuff that will get views from brain dead people.

All they did was make it so if you tried to open IE on windows it redirects to edge. They cant get ride of it becuse lots of core programes use it still. Also lots of. Net applications still need it. Like HP printer management software HP webjet.

I think it might be that windows has kept just building on top of the same stuff over and over without fixing or taking out unessential things. Like how they cant take internet explorer out of windows because it is critical to the OS.
