I’m pretty sure I had something similar. But I had to sign for it. They literally would not give me my phone without signing for it first.

I know the intended meaning but…
Just because you control the skies doesn’t mean you can’t let some missiles through. Technically speaking, they aren’t mutually exclusive. You can also choose not to let missiles through, if you control the skies.
Shit happens. I’m not saying this person is right to do what they did, but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was a mistake.
You need to run awareness campaigns when you put in new traffic signals and enforce them so people know how they work.
There are so many steps before going “fuck this guy” just on one interaction:
Enforcement: make sure they know there’s a consequence
Public transport: Give people who can’t drive worth a shit an alternative
Engineered check: Raise a physical barrier to prevent cars from taking this position or prevent cars from using the intersection altogether. Or, grade separate cars and other modes of transportation
The goal is safety and not just to shit on someone. It really could just be a mistake. We all make them. Nobody died this time. Make people aware so people don’t die next time.
Seriously? Maybe they were from out of town and cross rides aren’t a thing where they are from. At least in the US, you are not required to take a written test to drive in another state.
Also, new traffic patterns are being introduced all the time. Perhaps cross rides weren’t a thing when they took their written or driving test.
In a world where you need to continually prove your knowledge of a given area to drive there, I would agree with you. But this is not that world.
This is why as much as I like to drive my car fast, we need to reduce speed limits, get rid of left on red/right on red situations, and reduce the number of lanes to force alternatives. Not everyone wants to drive or is able to drive safely. Don’t force them to drive. Give them public transport
Yes, maybe they didn’t know cross rides were a thing, were fatigued and forgot, etc.
Give them a chance to not be an asshole first.
It does suck that you ur local cops don’t do their job. People won’t be aware or conscious that they’re fucking up unless they’re made aware of it. Hell, there are people that don’t care unless they suffer a personal consequence….
Maybe they didn’t know. They have a window open. Ask them to back up. If they don’t, go around and get their position and plate on video or as a picture and send to local police
Suggestions?
What the-? How far up there are you?
No. A vacuum cleaner? Yes. A dehumidifier? Yes.
But then again, I was told that without my partner the only furniture I would have is a table, bed, and chair
Until you’re late for your flight and they rush you through security….
Oh yeah, Amtrak gives zero shits up north as well per my experience around… 10 years ago lol
If you don’t have a national ID card you have to travel with your passport. I had to do this.
There’s also really weird “bomb checks” in China, where they won’t let you proceed randomly as a group. I’ve seen this on the metro, the high speed rail, and the airport.
So like if someone’s bomb is timed but you’re stuck in the group….
I don’t know why this is a good idea.
If I recall correctly, you still have to go through security to get on the high speed rail in China.
I don’t use either service. Do they serve the same purpose?
It’s funny because I created an IG a year or so ago and I don’t recall it asking these questions.
Edit: don’t ask me questions that require logging in as I don’t know my password
Too lazy to read wiki link, but I too postfix/dovecot
You should ask Best Buy why a signature was not required
