    Let’s see…

I just got Leandra an upgraded graphics card for experimenting with AI software locally (because I don’t trust OpenAI, and there is buzz out that they’ve been compromised and somebody walked off with a bunch of user data). However, Leandra won’t boot when it’s installed. I think her power supply isn’t strong enough. Before I throw money at a new power supply I want to know just how much power she’s using, because there’s a chance that the card is bad. If she’s using so much power that the new card overtaxes the power supply, the fix is easy. If she’s not, the card might be bad.

I built a weather station a couple of months ago. I want to interface it with some citizen science projects on the Net - sending data to them to contribute to the locations covered. Because I wrote the software myself I have to figure out how to send data to each project separately. I haven’t sat down to do it yet because there is software out there already that will run my weather station, and I didn’t know it before I started writing my own. I’ve been kind of avoidant about working more on it for that reason, which is dumb to be honest.
