I guess you could just create another account in that instance, though I agree it’s not really optimal…

On Kbin: Settings, under first section Appearance, select Homepage, select Subscribed, done, you see subscriptions first.
On Lemmy: Settings, near the bottom above the checklist, select Sort type (default Active), select Subscribed.
