Way to dangle a carrot over the consumer.
‘Could’ isn’t the same as ‘will’ and they’re probably only saying this to placate consumers so they can sell more without actually committing to anything.
And then if it doesn’t sell well, they’ll use that as an excuse to discontinue private server development; and when they cancel their live service, it’ll be dead forever.
I’m not buying this game at launch but could be convinced to do so after private servers come out.
Maybe I’ll buy it when they do.
I won’t based on their carefully selected wording now. They already burned my trust.
