That yellow bulb is the remnants of the large flower I had. Am I correct in assuming that is the fruit? It’s a slow grower if it is.

    Wait, is this a dragon fruit? I have I think exactly this plant that I was given, and aside from a single big red flower one time it’s never made any effort to make dragon fruit. I thought it was just a aggressively minded cactus…

      Yeah that’s definitely a dragon fruit cactus (pitaya), but they need proper pollination to fruit - most varieties require cross-pollination at night when the flowers open, and if you’re growing indoors or don’t have the right pollinators around, you’ll get flowers but no fruit unles you hand-pollinate with a small brush when the flowers are open.
