I appreciate that they make this distinction. Nobody knows for certain, and making claims about this person’s affiliation feels…pointless. At this point, they will say he’s whatever they want him to be. Whatever fits their agenda. We can see it go both ways.

In my opinion, many people(not all) seem to be missing the point. These incidents will continue as people feel that their voices are not being heard as political violence increases from the government and their supporters.

It creates a negative feedback loop where the allies of authoritarians spread misinfo/hate -> the regime comits political violence and will not stop with words, debate, protest -> people commit violent acts -> authoritarians use it to dig in deeper.

Idk that’s my ramblings, at least.

Cannon, the Trump appointee who so-called presided over the president’s so-called documents case, gaveled Routh down​ for incoherence, the defendant invoked Adolf Hitler, Vladimir Putin, and the “need to be kind to one another.” ​Ah—the Hitler-Putin-kindness ideology. Hmm. This is interesting news to say the least.

If he was as ‘off-the-Right-Edge’ as it implies, that could be troubling. But it does explain the sudden source of Facist and Nazi ideology upwelling from the Right. That sort of thing doesn’t arise out of a vacuum and lack of influences.

I’m actually kinda relieved it was not someone who sincerely held Left-leaning ideals…anything that genuinely gives the Big Orange Idiot something to run his nonsense ‘with and on’ should be properly denigrated and chastised.

At least for now; it looks like the B.O.I. in office has egg on his face and he’s scrambling to wipe it up; because the shooter is potentially far more extreme-right than even his own MAGA group is.
