Valve recently published a Steam Deck Verified rating for the smash-hit extraction shooter ARC Raiders. I decided to see if it deserved the rating.
With close to 100 hours on my Linux desktop where it has been working beautifully, I feel like I have a decent enough grasp on how it should feel by now. It’s also one of the few bigger games like this that actually has the anti-cheat enabled for Linux / SteamOS which is going to be a big problem for the Steam Machine, so it’s quite an important one. There’s many that simply disable Linux support as noted on our anti-cheat page.

As I understood it they have explicitly made that the deal with the voice actors. To use their voices for training a model and use for generating voiced dialogue in game. Which leads me to believe that the voice actors have probably been compensated fairly and on agreed upon terms.
This makes it different than just buying/using general voice models that has just scraped the internet of audio content and never hiring or compensating any voice actors.
You may be right.
I’m speaking specifically to the end product of voice overs. They suck butt.
Yeah those sound awful, and I feel like they cut off words from players sometimes, I have a hard time understanding what people say when playing solo if they’re using it
