Imagine if we forced vaccines like this.
I mostly want an ON button, and that AI stuff is always disabled by default. Make me opt-in to it, not opt-out.
AI won’t be used to improve our lives. It will be used for propaganda, surveillance and control. For generating deepfakes and running legions of bots.
Only AI is fast enough to generate the blizzard of bullsh*t that governments and corporations need to keep us under control.
that probably why the chinese don’t find it useful beyond creating AI “art” with it.
I thought it was an interesting addition to Where Winds Meet to make the NPCs seem dynamic. It didn’t change my opinion of AI nor would I call it a selling point, but it was interesting.
Pretty much this. Anytime I can, I turn AI off. If I cannot, I complain about it to the company. I even asked whatsapp AI to turn itself off, just to make a point.
The funny thing is, for me the AI never adds any value. The product is not better with AI.
And some companies try to get you to pay for AI stuff that is basically just a simple algoritm.
I cannot wait for the bubble to burst.
