I don’t see the use case for a RaspberryPi 5 unless you plan on using the pins.

You can buy a more powerful Mini PC for 90€ from AliExpress

To get a Pi5 to the same specs It’ll cost you double if not more

I used to split my drive in half to dual boot. But I’ve never booted back into windows since installing Linux Mint.

If that’s the case I’m likely going with NextCloud Office, one of the reasons I’m hosting nextcloud etc. is to move away from proprietary software and to OpenSource

Fair, it’s not as easy as installing a new browser.

But it’s not difficult.

1. Download Linux
2. Flash it on a USB
3. Change boot settings
4. restart and follow install wizard

It’s real easy and there are many clear guides out there.

The wage gap is mostly down to the what careers people choose and how hard they push in those careers.

Women for the most part, earn less then men for the same reason gay men earn more than straight men.

(side note: I’m not denying that there is sexism and discrimination in the workplace, it’s sadly common and should be stopped, I’m saying that’s not the cause of the wage gap)
