Chipotle is great for kids and people who want the same flavor profile. My kids love Chipotle mostly because they don’t want strange foods or new flavors. Most kids (and some adults) eat a handful of foods and don’t want surprises. My eldest is starting to branch out to new foods now that he is firmly in his teens. But the youngest won’t touch anything new.

Unless you are the child of a a diplomat or an invading soldier you are awarded citizenship if you are born under the jurisdiction of a state I.E. US soil. Illegal immigrants are still under US jurisdiction and their children are awarded citizenship as a result.

Trump is doing away with birthright citizenship which is enshrined in the 14th amendment. “Illegal” is whatever Trump will deem it to be.

Lemmy moderation is just as toxic as Reddits. Post an opinion that runs against the group meta and it will be removed. I find myself using it less and less. If I can find a viable alternative that isn’t Reddit I’d jump.

Not everyone is handy or knows how to use tools. Instead of a passive aggressive post on Lemmy. Perhaps talk to your neighbor comment on the fence posts and offer to fix it or show him/her how to fix it.

Work from home is the ultimate culprit.

A. People can migrate and buy in cheaper parts of the country and maintain jobs that would have required them to stay in a certain geographical area in the past.

B. Work from home has gutted the commercial real estate market. Leading investors to move into the home market. You’re going to see a lot of money flow into single family homes to rent over the next ten years.

You’re now competing against established professionals who are later on in the careers and institutional investors.

I’ve replaced all of my Reddit comments for the past year with AI generated nonsense. It seems to have stuck. I plan on going through all of my past comments but will spread it out over time so that it’s harder to restore.

IMO the key is making a post that writes gibberish but that is good enough to suck a user in to read it for a few seconds before they realize it is BS. That kills the user experience and poisons the site.

I have kids, it is great knowing that I’ve successfully continued my bloodline like my ancestors before me.

While those that have not procreated will die as failures in the eyes of nature. Their bloodlines will end in 100 years it will be like they were never there to begin with.

Kids are also pretty awesome to have.

It’s hard to find versions of the original with the cheesy English dubbing. There are a few LBGTQ jokes in the old version which many streaming services just won’t run.
