They may not want what it’ll likely be if it ever got made but they likely want what it could be.

There are people who don’t want GTA VI

Worst case scenario, we quickly find out who owns it when someone pops up trying to claim their money.

Not to mention general support from software companies. I recently endeavoured to try Bazzite only to find out I can’t install my VPN’s client on it because there’s not a flatpak version. Given a handful of other programs I specifically like and would need to find workarounds or alternatives to, I won’t be jumping over anytime soon.

I have to agree with this. The game is gorgeous and I enjoy the general setting and plot but I absolutely loath the navigation system that just about everyone and their pet turtle says is amazing and I thought it went on for too long. By the end of the main story (and having done most of the side stuff alobg the way) I was so done with it I didn’t even bother touching the DLC.

I found the game a lot more approachable once I modded the toffee-tier equipment out of the game.

TW3, and The Witcher as a series in general, is one of those slow burn games. Its strong point is the characters and building story. That said, given the time investment required to get to that point, I can’t blame anyone for bouncing off if they weren’t already into the series.

Since there’s a Switch version, I’d assume so

I’ll throw Private Internet Access in there for a known one with port forwarding. I know the general attitude towards PIA has soured since the buyout but there still has yet to be a reason to believe it’s not a good service and they’ve continued to add bells and whistles over time while still being one of the cheapest VPNs out there.

Does that make it piracy²?

The term “removable battery” typically means there’s no disassembly required. Or at least nothing any more complicated than a battery cover. As much as it’s an easy process for those with even minor mechanical skills, your initial wording creates the sort of slippery slope that led to us needing a government to step in so that phones and other devices would have removable batteries again.

I know what it’s about. Best part is that at an entry fee of $5, Sling aren’t even undercutting the market enough to allow an anti-competition lawsuit against them. So long as Sling can afford the lawyer fees, a dismissal and reversal should be a cake walk.

They’re suing over the creation of competition in the market? Certainly an interesting strategy. I hope WB, Disney, and every other scum-sucker that thinks suing is acceptable gets raked across the coals.

A perfectly valid use of the FBI’s time…
And not from a shitty Reddit link

I’ve grown to hate that famous quote “It’s not personal, it’s just business.” because it’s almost exclusively used to excuse people when they choose to act like sociopaths.

From what I heard, many others do too.

If you’re smart enough to know about MAS, I hope you’re smart enough to have not “upgraded” to 11

I’d argue it’s worth knowing what you risk losing from your device in the name of sideloading software so it’s not irrelevant to point out your phone might not be a phone by the end of the procedure.
It’s become much worse in recent years and more expensive for the privilege.
