Naw im good.

I’ve used 3, one that turns the phone into a switch basically, an Xbox controller with a clip adapter, and a migoo I think the brand was basically an Xbox controller with a slot.
They all sucked. The switch one was too small for my hands, probably great for kids though. No software.
Xbox had the best compatibility but it was heavy af and awkward to hold.
Same with the migoo, but also never wanted to connect to android and when it did, most controller games failed to see it, even emulators hated it.
That’s why. Too many variables when you can just get a comfortable device dedicated to emulation.
One will hope so.
As a gen x, this is stupid, nobody does this.

Off topic: what the heck is that laptop with a circular track pad. Its heretical and I want one for… reasons.

It would be so funny if someone hacks the site and only changes that, and nobody notices for weeks…
What do you think he’s drinking? Your missing the hole to pee in.

Look at this badass over here. Im 32 and the idea of multi km walks everyday makes me knees hurt something fierce!

Good ol Nvidia, fucking the pc user until the end.
Anyway, I could never get Waydroid working at reasonable performance so I gave up on it. I could also not have any clue what im doing. That’s a real possibility lol.

Wayland is simply a no go for Nvidia gpus in my experience, I’ve tried three different cards (1060, 2080 and my current 3070) and in all cases with several different distros and each lacked dearly with wayland.
Not saying it wouldn’t work for others but if you move from windows to Linux using your Nvidia card, my opinion is firmly x, it just feels better. Screen jittering, funky mouse tracking and weird rendering issues arised in each of my builds on wayland. I have never had a smooth experience with wayland, and no matter how many people scream at the top their lungs saying its superior on nvidia. I just don’t see it.
As far as terminal usage… err, don’t have to do anything on terminal for almost all uses, I could easily get around it with a ton of apps from discover, an average pc user would never need to use it on an immutable distro. How much does the average user actually use terminal?

If you have a Nvidia card, I’ve found mint and neon to be really poor performing. Kubuntu and Q4 have been amathiugh, I wouldn’t use Q4os unless you have low end hardware though.
That being said mint is just the best os in the sphere for performance and usability, if it runs well for you that would be awesome.
Libre wolf is an amazing Firefox branch, runs well, super private, good overall, though in my opinion it fails to perform well on beefy websites with alot of visual goodies (like sketch sketchfab and other 3d model websites.) Best to have both Firefox and Libre Wolf.
On a side note some fun apps to use on Linux I found: qdirstat (winderstat replacement.) Portmaster (take control of what can access your pc via the internet, also has built in dns, a wonderful user interface, its just amazing.) Vencord (yeah I know discord sucks, but its almost impossible to get away from. Seriously I’ve tried to get my friends to use matrix, no Bueno.)
Also, Plasma is the greatest thing ever. My god is it good.

I agree, but at the same time I love the Kubuntu installation slides, they feel so early 2000s PowerPoint.

Well, okay then, ill send it when I can.

I’m unsure this is the proper place for this, since its such a minor, non debilitating problem, I think the Kubuntu forums is the better choice? What do you think?
Isn’t that part of being a jackass online, not using your brain?
I always yell my name as I am slapped too.
I had tons of problems with Mint, that one included since I have to secure boot on for work reasons. (Absolutely abysmal let me tell you.) I use Kubuntu, and just run it in insecure mode, haven’t had any problems at all outside the potential security risk I suppose. It’s Ubuntu of course, that could turn you off I understand people aren’t fond of it, but everything works great with very little tinkering needed.
I tried bazzite, but found it lacking since I like to tinker and mess with things, and that just isn’t happening on an immutable distro.
I have a gigabyte motherboard, amd cpu and Nvidia card if that matters.
Well, uh, as long as you’re happy haha.
