It would make sense in context, if you’re talking about a video or video tape. Otherwise it would get confused with a cassette tape player.

Literally no one called them VHSs. They were just called video tapes. The players were called VCRs.

I buy these really cool magnetic charging cables. You put an adapter in the charging phone port and the cable just attaches itself.

The only problem is that they have these bright blue LEDs around the end. And on top of that, the LEDs are coated with silicone so you can’t even take a sharpie to them.

I do that instead of subscribing to communities.

So far I’ve mostly just blocked sports related communities. Also Apple.

Is there some way to just not see the remnants of communities from defederated instances?

Someone needs to make a regularly updated map of which instances are federated with which other instances.

Edit: Ok, apparently there’s one here but there’s over 600 instances and trying to show the connections between all of them destroys your browser.

I wish the layout was more responsive. When I look at it on desktop it still looks formatted for a phone.
