I love your fence and pavers! Such a cozy looking space.
Looks like a kind of friendship sage, but the flowers are wrong. Some type of sage for sure.
Same. I drink about a gallon a day now. It’s so good. I’m on well water, and it does have a strong mineral taste, but when fizzy and cold it’s not noticeable at all.
I did the exact same thing, long ago. I saw it only had like 2g fiber per 4oz serving, so I drank a quart. Spent 8 hours on the toilet, my roommate was bringing me Gatorade and laughing at my tears.
You know those funny reviews of sugar free gummy bears that like, ruined people’s day/lives/grounded planes after a bag was shared among passengers and then shat their literal souls out until they begged for mercy that did not come? ( https://www.amazon.com/review/RZFIYJTPVUZ94 )
Yeah, that’s because of sorbitol, the artificial sugar/laxative that is naturally occurring in high doses in prunes.
You’re free to add your own chalk.
Id take half your seeds (or as many as you have room for) still in the soil pots and put them in the fridge for a month.
I say only half because it’s a little late in the season to waste a month on cold stratification, but it really helps with germination. Some might sprout without it and they’ll have an extra month of growth before winter this year.
It is a good season to take new growth cuttings now. They can take a month or more to root, so be patient.
I think it’s cute 🤷♀️
Looks more like baklava to me.
Are Golden Delicious good straight from the tree? I do not find the supermarket variety to be particularly delicious.
It’s 300 calories per serving (4 servings per box). If you’re on a 2000 calorie diet, a meal is 500 - 700 calories, so this would be a snack or a dish that requires a side. Or eat the whole box yourself and it’s about the same as a Big Mac combo.
Can’t tell you how disappointed I am that isn’t just a chart of increasingly tubby kittens.
Gestation? They will birth the peanuts?
https://www.petmd.com/dog/nutrition/can-dogs-eat-peanuts (answer: yes, but raw peanuts can have mold, so cooked is better. They are a high fat, “sometimes treat”)
For things that have a short time between ready and gone with the wind, I use organza bags, like for wedding favors, just put one over the top when it’s almost there and it will collect them without hindering the drying process. Some people use paper bags and twine, but this is cuter.
Palm trees can be dug up and gifted away, if done carefully.
If getting an apple tree, make sure it’s a “dwarf” or even “ultra dwarf” type depending on the size of your yard, or you won’t have a yard anymore, just a big ass tree.
I don’t know what’s native to your area, but for a walkable, wild lawn what works in my area, same zone in California, is self-heal (prunella vulgaris), wild violet (viola sororia), trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), with a micro clover base (trifolium repens). These all stay low, don’t mind a mow here and there, but don’t require it and are very lovely.
Because they are low growing, they won’t be able to compete with an overgrown grass lawn. Wilding the lawn isn’t really as simple as discontinuing mowing.
You can murder the lawn by cutting it short and covering with cardboard for about six months www.gardeningknowhow.com/lawn-care/kill-grass-with-cardboard Then plant what you want.
Or you can add the above mentioned plants and continue mowing as the shorties take over.
Know that pumpkins are not small plants- they will need about 50- 100 square feet per plant, but you can get mini varieties and grow them vertically, or a small “bush” variety. Zucchini is much more compact and manageable.
