So he’s still making money off it then. We can still stigmatize the brand and cut where it hurts all of the parties associated - their profits. Shame upon anyone still buying Tesla.
It will play when you reach 100% but if still seeding you don’t want to close it or the file can corrupt.
This kind of thinking is what the mpaa and others want pirating framed as. Very very little of what’s pirated would have been paid for at all had it not been available. I’ve paid to see sequels for movies that have pirated and have bought books based on series I’ve downloaded that I never would have bothered to explore if I had to buy them originally.
Just hide a bag of cocaine in their room. Their credibility will plummit simply by pointing out to authorities that they have a hard drug problem and showing evidence.
Worse than Comcast?? Like not only are they poking you with metal forks but they’ve gone through the extra effort to make sure they are all rusty too?
I 2p is really exciting and I hope to see more usage but boy it seems lonely out there from what I can tell. More clients that simultaneously support clearnet and i2p are needed I think.
How do you define better? You are going to have a very limited and probably slow download experience on i2p so for find stuff it’s not better right now. Not having to pay for and trust a vpn is better though I think
I know right.
Bit gross that it’s a RU domain though
Yes
Downloading and listening can still indicate an indirect form of support. Up to the individual, but I lean towards this guy being as canceled as possible, recommend rerouting any efforts to listen to this towards searching for some new exciting music.
Wild story. I do remember hearing about her a long time ago but had forgotten until now. History teachers in primary school need to include these kind of stories.
All out of sympathy for lost souls still milling about reddit.
Sadly no longer updated but I think libgen and some other services are filling the gaps.
As someone in science that has used this many times, I can’t emphasize enough how much this has accelerated research in the modern era. I am so grateful for her work.
Seems like most pirated software does a good job of trying to cut software off from internet communication so that it doesn’t get sniffed out on an add-on or update query. I don’t trust most software companies anymore as far as security goes either. So the short answer is at least personally, after scanning everything before and after installation and check network monitor for anything that looks weird while running, yes I consider my system secure still.
Curious what “safe” list you are referring to?
Agree. The installation isn’t a barrier. Basic OS navigation probably isn’t either anymore. Its still having to use alternative software and work arounds that I think is the frustrating part for the average user attempting to switch. Also, it’s that they can’t use Linux at work in many cases and it’s uncomfortable to switch environments on a daily basis from home computing to workplace computing. You’d think with nonsense like the crowds trike crash more businesses would force the switch, but unfortunately I don’t get the sense that is happening.
Deep down in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want me clubbing seals and installing windows.
It’s worse than ever. Once you work your way up to being able to say anything - BAN! It’s more of an echo chamber than ever before.
