I don’t think removing a corporation from existence would fix anything. We have a capitalist system killing the planet that has been extended to basically every country on the planet thanks to U.S. hegemony (which thankfully is coming to an end)

Uh, no, that’s actually the opposite of how that works. Pressure is force per area, and torque is the cross product of force and length (at right angles). The smaller the area, the higher the pressure. The smaller the foot, in this case, the harder the muscles have to work to create the same torque (or moment). #ThanksForAttendingMyPhysics101TEDTalk

On the internet, you’re not likely to change their mind, like at all. But in person, if you can connect with someone and bring it back to family, and community, you can slowly change someone’s mind and show them that they’ve been lied too. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it can be done.

You can always take your trash with you instead of expecting someone else to take it for you. The culture of throwing shit away instead of reusing, and reducing, is so ubiquitous, that’s the infuriating thing.

Just because you make an argument, doesn’t make it true. One is a group who came to power through hate and used that power in an attempt to exterminate political enemies, dissidents, and as everyone is well aware, the entirety of the Jewish population. The other is someone who got screwed over by our Healthcare system and decided to do something about it. Comparing the two and saying they are the same is either intentionally disingenuous, or just stupid.

It’s been 9 years, I’m married again (happily), and my ex-wife is never coming back.

It’s difficult to go from best friends who tell eachother everything, to strangers.

It took a lot of therapy for me to realize that we both played a part in our marriage ending, and it wasn’t all my fault. But, I also learned in the process that my childhood really screwed me up, and I needed to deal with it, and reconcile with the fact that I didn’t have a loving childhood. The abuse, both verbal, physical, and sexual has had a lasting effect on me as an adult.

But, most importantly, I learned that I can heal from all of it, and grow as a person.

I think she’s happy now, and so am I. So even though I still miss her once im a while, I know things worked out for the best.

Im sorry you have to deal with that. If i could take that away, I would. There are still people that support you <3

How does that work exactly? You can’t retroactively sue someone over a patent before it was granted… in fact, once you realize the mechanic was already out there, and patent shouldn’t be granted at all.
