That’s cool. Instapaper can’t do that. Thx.
Is it possible to transfer those files to kobo reader (convert to epub).
If I log into a paywalled site, can i read paywalled things later?
When I installed radicale last, i had problems with auth and exposing it. I think either I misunderstood something or it was left as an exercise for the reader. Anyways…
1: Open files. You can now use ctrl shift n to make a new folder.
2: Open an application. Click save as… “files” opens. Now you can not use ctrl shift n. I just tested it again. I am also on gnome 48. This is an old an known limitation.
No you can not do that, with a Keyboard shortcut (ctrl shift n ). You need to clickitty clickitty with a mouse.
I want one thing (besides a11y which is really number one): the save dialogue should be sane. E.g. let me create a new subfolder with Ctrl shift n…
What’s the verdict on yunohost if we are talking easy? I think so the applications being mentioned has good support on yunohost?
This and shortcut for creating a subfolder doeesnt work in save dialogue.

I’ll be the one: use rtorrent
Well. I have used https://github.com/Catfriend1/syncthing-android for ages… Guess that will continue?
Markor is absolutely amazing. Pair it with syncthing.
Find it will mentained on play, froid and github https://github.com/gsantner/markor
Last i looked into it, joplin had a bug which ment syncthing didnt work . Can’t remember the details but the solution was pinning an old version.
I am much much happier with markor notes + syncthing.
Super sinple, 100 % foss, sync what you want .
Thx. Interesting. But a bit to expensive.
Is there really no watch i can just connect to my pc and transfer data?
On android opentracks, fitotracks etc are great applications.
Thx!
I consider myself long time noob ;)
Fedora for me because it’s rock solid, has cutting edge software, excellent documentation.
I,ve been updating the same installation more than 15 times i think.
Against: selinux is often overlooked when following guides written for Debian / ubuntu. So sometimes you pull out your hair.
On the other hand. Podman is supposedly the new favorite kid on the block. Fedora is on the front here
I am on Fedora. Beware fedora has SElinux enabled. That can cause you issues if you follow a guide written for Ubuntu.
Syncthing can backup your photos on Android.
Thx… Couldnt really find anything about him - other than “anti human rights” - without context or explanation. But I did find his own post describing his motivations as (my paraphrasing) leftish anti establishment… i am fine with that. I’m even in support. But again - choose your instance…

(The only problem is lemmy hardcoded slur words… But I couldn’t find a list of those slurs, so difficult to have an opinion about specifically. And in any case, if somebody wants to create the best social software on the planet, and hardcode banning of the word ‘snuffle’ into to the platform, because they have issues with that word being used, thats more than ok. That’s extremely cool).
Go Lemmy and go dessalines - you rock I believe.
