You’re sure it’s in pairing mode? On my XM4s pairing mode is achieved by holding down the power button for a few seconds. It’ll say “pairing” in the headphones and blink red and blue IIRC.

By “on the command line” you mean that you type a command, it starts an X server, and starts MPV with the movie? I mean, it should be possible to just write a script for that. Scripting isn’t really my forté though so I couldn’t tell you exactly.
Modded APKs always have some level of risk. I would personally never use *vanced or anything, I’d stick to Newpipe.
This is the endless argument, though. I like the way GNOME works by default, so the configurability is irrelevant. Some people want configurability, which is fair, but after 9 years I just don’t care anymore.
Again, it’s subjective. The last time I used KDE it felt hacked together and inconsistent, and I got exactly the opposite impression of GTK and GNOME. I thought KDE4 was good but KDE5 looking like a knockoff Windows complete with context menu hell just isn’t for me. It’s much more developed now, but in my own testing I find a lot more inconsistency from KDE and Qt stylings in general, and I prefer to not have to touch my machine once it’s setup and I really find GNOME’s workflow to be best for me.
I consider KDE to be the lower quality option so that’s subjective.

You’re giving package thieves too much credit. It’s straight up unethical to steal from your neighbour. I can defend stealing from a Walmart, but not another member of your community.
Have you SEEN the base install size for Windows 11?
Myself and many others have found lots of use in these features. If it’s not important to you that’s fine, but there ARE reasons many of us default to btrfs now.
Copy on write, compression, and snapshots are really good whistles, though.
Not sure what you mean by this?
Razer keyboard are pretty overpriced for what you get IMO, they’re better than they used to be but I would honestly consider alternatives first. Still if you’re considering Razer, check the compatibility chart before buying! https://polychromatic.app/devices/
Use Pacman as your package manager, or something. Linux is Linux. If you use a mainstream distro it should be 90% similar to all other distros. You don’t really have to worry about FOMO when it comes to Linux.
No and AI almost never will be. However, investor money keeps coming, so it doesn’t matter.
You’re right. I just hate corporate bullies.
There’s tons of illegal things that people do every single day that the law turns a blind eye to because reality is complicated. Piracy of games not being sold by the company anymore is certainly by-the-books illegal, but everyone obviously recognizes that it’s an entirely harmless “crime”. Like smoking weed in illegal states. Everyone knows it’s bullshit, so if you defend locking people up for a few grams of weed you’re a bootlicker.
Frame generation sets a really fucking stupid precedent for game optimization. You’re right
Because Jellyfin is FOSS and not corporate.
What made me realize it’s time to be stealthy again was Nintendo starting to go after FUCKING ANYTHING they think they could construe as unlawful in regards to emulators. I’m still pretty convinced they’re net losing money because myself and other folks won’t buy this stuff we can’t access in a DRM free way (whether or not other people might phrase it that way, DRM is what causes all these headaches).
