reasons for Jews who are still connected to who theis people are to be against what’s happening in the levant:
almost as if zionism and israel do not represent all, or even most, Jews
compliance remains unacceptable
think of it this way. do you want power over someone else? because i don’t. i want to live my life in peace and enjoy the company of people i love and who love me. the powerful though? they’re addicted to power. and they want to experience power during sex to enhance the feeling of their orgasm. they are at the most powerful when the person they are fucking is a child.
does that make sense?
welcome to what happens when a single corporate entity owns a monopoly on a sector. it turns into extortion rackets so fast because everything is secretly just mob shit in the background
while this stance is correct, let’s not platform this nazi transphobe shitstain again
i’ve been using Qwant when i search news
it’s not perfect, but i’ve just been gathering interesting links into my org roam notebook
we could do something crazy like create new IPs
was this… not how it worked before?
the conflation existed before .world even existed. it’s the general sentiment i see across mastodon starting around 3 years ago that lemmy, not just lemmy.ml, is a tankie cesspit.
just one thing… the threadiverse is not the fediverse. the vast majority of the fediverse rs dominated by microblogging systems like mastodon and misskey. whether or not the fediverse gains more popular traction will have very little to do with lemmy. it’s very early days for the threadiverse and piefed or mbin could still make waves
your best bet is to consider another instance that directly opposes lemmy.ml’s moderation style (though i don’t know who defederates from it): slrpnk.net, lemmy.blahaj.zone, or db0 (i forget their full domain).
if you want to go a step further you could also switch to mbin or piefed. personally i find they’re less far along than lemmy which is why i’m on a lemmy instance instead of an mbin instance, but also the death of your friend is a pretty strong motivator. you want to do right by and honor your friend’s memory. x also grapple with my Ukrainain friends, both still present and forever lost, and ponder if what i do helps them or hinders them. you’ll find your way
This is a scenario where a single node VPN would reduce, not increase OP’s security stance. You do have to worry about NK hackers breaching your services because they’re all exposed through the single node VPN server. Same attack surface, less knowledge needed to hit the target with the payload.
