Yep. There’s money to be made coding cheats. They’ll never be stopped. There’s absolutely no shortage of people willing to cheat and shit on other players. “giT gUd KiD, LeRn HoW tOo Aim!1!1!” I’ve got over 3k hours in BF2042 and easily the top 3-5 players give or take on either team are using some form of cheat, whether it be a Cronus or an actual software cheat, they’re obvious as hell. Like most fps games, they only keep the cheats to just enough of a minimum that they can delete cheat discussions from the forums and the community to lick the boot, “stfu hackusations!” One look at the leaderboards and showing hit%/time and the top 10-15% of players should all be banned.
Ah. Til.
Huh. I viewed it as 60, the number. Six - T. Sorta like a speed limit.
I cannot believe the state of the country where I have to read bullshit like this.
You’re basically saying: Christians don’t read the bible, they just act like their peers and all the bad habits that can go with that.
Any of the vapid and shallow trends. From tiktok “challenges” to the Stanley mug craze. All designed to separate the individual from their money and sense.
Interesting the cultural difference here. People arguing in favor of, or at least the reasonableness of, the law and its application. Americans regularly speed, 20+ mph over the limit is not uncommon. People would lose their shit over a driving ban in the US, and probably keep driving anyway. DUI repeat offenders and suspended license drivers are pretty common.
Because compared to America everyone else’s “shit” is 10x better than our “none at all”.
Personally I don’t care for the trend that is RGB EvReyWhERe!!1!1! MoRe!1!1! Especially in what amounts to pretty normal cases. Just a box with a bunch of bolt on lights and fans. Yay?
I far more admire a computer where someone has taken the time to actually invest some customization that took skill. Bending watercool hard tubing around a hand made or modified case. Lights are fine for accent or drama, but not as a misrepresentation of uniqueness or effort.
I don’t need the 7th iteration of the same game dressed up with new graphics for the price they’re charging.
Big Company CEOs Just Aren’t Worth What We Pay Them
the research also suggests that we might not really be getting the brightest and best talent at the top because the tools and processes used to identify candidates are either limited or downright faulty. There is simply too much emphasis on past performance, personal recommendation, unstructured interviewing, an unwillingness to ask really difficult and searching questions and that more dangerous selection criterion of all – gut instinct. Worryingly, it seems that the headhunters and in-house recruiters charged with hiring occupants of the corner office may be relying too much on perception and too little on good, hard facts. The paper points out that CEOs who win prestigious industry awards constantly out-earn those that don’t. Yet the stocks of the companies the award winners head up consistently underperform in comparison to those of their less publicity hungry peers.
We’re the taxpayers that want “free” health care while simultaneously paying taxes. The Right somehow thinks we’re too stupid to know we pay taxes that makes these things happen. Heck…we want people to have nice things.
Meanwhile the Right doesn’t want to pay taxes yet somehow expects to get social services like paved roads or safe drinking water. I’d mention schools or health care but the republicans clearly DGAF about those things.
Hah, yes. This is a good take.
It’s like buying a knighthood from an organization that claims to have rights to grant such things. Even though the title is meaningless.
Mensa is the same.
IOW it’s an organization designed to take your money for a title. They get money, you get a meaningless membership.
The gravy seals are the ultimate keyboard warriors.
Yes. Some services are not good at accepting existing naming conventions, insist on their own naming and sorting conventions, or require a lot of third party services that will unfortunately rename your movie to something foreign or otherwise completely wrong.
It takes quite a bit of time to clean up titles and metadata that you may be migrating or adding from a personal collection. Sure, it’s free…but it doesn’t mean it isn’t frustrating or time consuming.
The squeaky wheel gets the cuffs in the US now.
“Single with 3 roommates at a crap job just moved in” style.
I’m tired of soft criticism like “out of touch” when lawmakers do something openly hostile to the will and benefit of constituents. They’re not out of touch, they’re self-serving authoritarians.
