They asked for a DRM-free ebook. Of course a physical book lacks digital rights management.

My health insurance denied covering my vasectomy so i put it off. Later that year i was in an accident and hit my max out of pocket pretty quick. I called up my doctor and had them resubmit the preauthorization. got it covered at 100%
I’m still pretty pissed that sterilization for women is covered at 100% under my plan but not for men. (It should be both 100% imo)
That’s what we were doing. It can still happen. If the item isn’t received back by Amazon for some reason then they charge you for the product again, even if 6+ months later.
Ive had this happen a few times. It goes something like this:
I think the problem was one of the drop off locations we used was stealing products, or just straight up losing them. But it is insane to me that amazon comes back 6 months later. The only thing worse than buying a broken dildo on amazon is returning the broken dildo and still getting charged for it. Getting fucked by the broken dildo twice and not in the ways i had hoped!
You can also block calls from unrecognized numbers. Doesn’t stop them from being able to leave a voicemail though which is both good and bad
From that screen-> three dots -> settings -> blocked numbers -> block calls from unknown numbers.
i did recently go through and turn off auto renewal on a few. I still have several projects i never launched though that I’m holding out hope for… someday

Should’ve used Papyrus
This happened to me last year. Bought a cs4 and cs5 design suites back when they came out. Only ever used on one computer. When i unauthorized my computer and moved it to a new one they wouldn’t authorize it and demanded proof of purchase. I showed those fuckers a paper receipt from 10-15 years ago. They wouldn’t accept it and required additional information to verify i was authorized to purchase the software at the discounted price from an authorized retailer. It took several back and forth before they issued a new cd key instead of reactivating mine.
I suspect the cdkeys were cracked at some point and i just had the unfortunate luck of mine being abused. Would be nice if they didn’t require online authentication for a product i legitimately own though. If they are going to require online authentication then they need a more secure way of generating their cd keys.
Pihole let’s you set up groups so you can always exempt certain devices from blocking if that’s the issue. Otherwise you just need to go to your router and change the dns server to your pihole ip
Yup. He had a community post saying he was too young to run but if he could run it wouldnt be about left or right, he’d sit down with both sides and work out a compromise. Previously i thought the minimum age should be lowered but after seeing something so naive i reconsidered.
What advantage is there is changing nameservers? Is it just the centrally manage DNS or something else? I’m fairly new to self hosting and only serving locally for now.
I do know cloudflare uses the same nameservers PER ACCOUNT so if you’re wanting to have multiple domains but keep one or more connections separated from you then this does draw a minor connection to a subset of Cloudflare accounts with the same two nameservers
Honestly the base game was too easy and my least favorite fromsoft game. If you’re telling me the dlc is harder then that perks my interest
This gives some better context. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/21553327/why-is-except-pass-a-bad-programming-practice
But essentially ignoring every single error a program could generate is not great. It’d be better to know what those errors are and fix/prevent them from occurring in the first place.
I wish there was one about vegan pizza 69 though
Id set up a static website with Hugo. You can preview and build locally. Or put it on your home network and vpn in if you need remote access to make an entry.
In your content folder you could do content/[year]/[month]/[day]/index.md, and have a _index.md in the year and in month folders so there would be pages with automatic collection of articles under that year/ month. You could also subdivide the content folder into health/ general/ shower thoughts and other “types” of journals
They have support for tags, categories, and custom taxonomies. So if you wanted to have “people” category you could, and then a “thing” category or any other sort of way to tag the content.
So i recently learned that counting cards isn’t illegal-- its just that casinos will kick you out for counting cards. I’m sure that’s obvious to some people, but it was new to me. what i find interesting is that you can play a perfect game counting cards and still have a smaller chance of profit than the casino gets against normal people, yet they’ll treat you like you’re doing something illegal?
Fuck casinos, especially online ones.
Still a decent post to raise awareness about vendor lock in i guess
Given the timing i suspect this was the article that drove the change. It was shared quite a bit over past few weeks.
I’m forgetting the episode but darknet diaries podcast had one where a guy took revenge against a former employer and wiped out an entire schools email system and wiped all phones that has logged into the school email. This was done from compromising the school’s outlook admin account.
That was the first time i learned that logging into the employer email could give them the level of control over your device. Fortunately i never have done that for the #2 reason.
