Oh that’s good to know. Thanks!

Ventoy is great, it’s my go to tool, boots on basically everything (even my MacBook) but… wasn’t there a scare about possibly being compromised because it builds itself from hundreds of modules on github or something like that?
Thank you, I added that to a list of printers to look at.
Yes, printers suck.
I’m sure that would fix it, but I went with buying a rollo, hopefully that just works. Thank you for your advice!
I was sure the zebra used its own proprietary stuff, that’s why I got 2 more modern no name printers hoping they would work. I was so fed up with the zebra not working after trying everything I found online.
I ended up buying a rollo printer. Thank you for your advice!
Most of The labels I print come directly from eBay. Sometimes I will have a PDF or JPG of a label to print. Those I click CTL-P and select the printer.
I did play with CUPS a ton, adding custom files, all that. Nothing worked. That’s why I bought 2 other no name label printers to see if those would work. But same issue.
I ended up buying a rollo printer, hopefully hay just works.
Thank you for your advice.
A few years ago I had a threadripper server, then I had to move. I planned it out to have a little low power NAS for traveling.
Now I live offgrid in an RV with some solar panels. My little NAS can be powered by 12V so I have it plugged into a cigarette lighter plug on my battery. It’s been working great so far, has docker so I have a bunch of stuff running on it now.

Some tea bags are plastic.

1/2 to 3/4 of my drives are from server parts deals, only had one of them give me issues and I think the issue was the SATA cable I had. I have several servers.
They are used drives, but I only paid about $100-125 each. Keep watching their site and things go in and out of stock all the time. I wait until they have a good price.

I tried to use AI to help me code, it only gave me trash.

Chucke2008
I think was the channel name. He showed welding and fabrication, one day he was reading something weird on video Idk and got canceled.

I wonder if it’s some kind of tracking watermark like printers have.

I just wonder if plex will ever sell the list of movies and IP address of everyone. Many people have the ARRs to auto download, even stuff still in theaters. What good is a VPN when plex knows your email and IP.

This is what I am going with now, I canceled my domain when moving and now I get a letter that I have money at patreon but can not log in without 2fa from the email on that domain, but it’s expensive now. I am loosing money when I need it most.

I played single player thousands of hours since the Xbox 360. I own maybe 10 copies of gta 5. Sad they never released the DLC.
Maybe in 5 years when it’s $20 I might pick it up. But the hype isn’t there for me anymore.

They blocked Linux on gta 5, so I lost interest in gta 6. Hurts me, but their greed with gta online kind of killed the series for me.

I also have the xreal glasses, they are great (as long as you keep your head still). I really enjoy them for playing games. Lots of people use them for movies and tons of other uses. It’s like having a huge OLED tv on the wall.

I just moved across states.
I took everything apart, packed the equipment in boxes using tons of padding. Any extra space in the boxes was filled with extra cables and more padding. Rack mounts that I have come completely apart.
My main servers have hard drives, so I used a lot of foam all around the server and added trackers (air tags) to the servers and my camera stuff.
I’m now off grid so not really in a hurry to setup all this stuff, but happy it seems to have made it here in great condition. Eventually I will setup the rack mounts just to hold the equipment and maybe I will power on things here and there as I feel like playing with them again.
I think I learned about knoppix from the TV show “the screen savers” in the early 2000s. Played with it a few times on old laptops, scanning for open Wi-Fi lol
I ran a 7 days to die server for a few years, fun to do missions with a lot of friends, and build bases and stuff.
