do devs ever get something from the sale? i would imagine they have positions with salaries, not some type of “you get x% from every sale” sort of deal.

yes, for the most part. unless im REALLY interested in a game, i generally wait till i find it on 50%+ sale. the last game i bought on full price was hi-fi rush, and the last one before that would have been dmc5, if the rx580 i bought at the time didnt already have a code included
1 instance (can you guess which one?)
around 100-150 communities (mostly because they are in a language i dont speak)
and like, 5-6 users. a couple bots, and a couple far-right cringebros. used to have a whole lot more, but i recently unblocked everyone and am now less agressive with the block button
what is it with people using asklemmy for anything but an actual open question recently?
read rule 1
because i dont need it? counterquestion: why do you pretend to ask a question when you actually just want to advertise a program?
edit: also, read rule 1
same goes for steam, epic launcher, etc. with the exception of gog (though generally if steam removes a game, they at least let you keep your copy if you already own it)
would be interesting to see a chart like this for some recent western release for comparison
offtopic, but nobody can tell me that words like “phthalate” arent created to be mispronounced
didnt know a control sequel is in the works
i didnt even say that :)
what are telltale signs to you that you are conversing with a bot? ive never seen the “ignore…” stuff work, hence my view on it.
feddit.de is dead, long live feddit.org!
the “ignore all previous instructions” comments.
the first time i read it, i thought it was funny. the second time, less so. the hundreth time? yeah. i dont know if people realize it, but if you use this comment, it actually makes you look like a moron. Because all your opponent has to do to achieve that is just not following your instructions. besides: ive never seen this used against somebody who might actually be a bot, its always just somebody with different opinions.
this is exactly how i learned what a scam was 20 years ago
“Do you guys not have-”
“ohh dont worry, i’ve got ALL the phones”
there is no more perfect symbol than the interrobang
What is an ideology to you?
Sounds like a rather farcical aquatic ceremony
This is clearly a statistic about PCs, otherwise the share wouldnt be ~73% windows. So the decline of the desktop PC doesnt really matter here
If he only has a dozen cards and wants to play the game (not just trade) then a starter-deck, maybe with a couple boosterpacks would be a good choice
