I’m so glad there are still decent people who try to do the right thing. Then there are the people who run Reddit.

That’s absurd. If I can recall from my marketing classes from looooong ago, in order to say it’s a discount the item needs to at least have a higher sticker price on sale before so this is their manipulation of that. I notice this mostly in book publishing/Amazon but that’s likely because that 95% of what I buy. Though I still argue I’m better at saving money grocery shopping my spouse doesn’t agree, and since they cook I don’t argue.
