It’s not about how much money he is holding, it’s about how much he spent and where/to whom.

You won’t find them in real life, they hide from that.
Actually, I know a few people that would be like this without the influences our local autism society social group has on them. Being brilliant in some areas and not as much in others can really twist a brain up depending on which areas. I got lucky with my strengths and challenges, I’m said to have infinite patience(not really the case, but relatively, close enough), and the ability to understand and relate to both Neurodiverse and Neurotypical individuals well. So I volunteer as a go-between, essentially an interpreter/mentor. I help the parents and kids get along, even if the “kids” are older than me. I also still live with my parents at 40, as despite some of my strengths being useful, I haven’t found anyone willing to pay for them. So I just try to help people with my time, either in real life or online.
Cybertruck bulletproof window all over again. He really needs to stop demonstrating stuff live.
Not only was he “using” starlink, he was specifically doing it as a promotion to show that it is good for gaming. And even with that being the whole premise, it was still his kneejerk reaction to blame the connection, even though everyone watching knows that can’t be what happened. His ego couldn’t let him blame himself instead of the service he was purposefully trying to promote.
Heh, that is even better. His ego wouldn’t let him blame himself instead of the service he was purposely trying to promote… leading to him doing the opposite.
Anyone I know that had success with apps, it was eHarmony. Mostly because it costs money and takes work to make a profile, already filtering out so much just from those two steps alone. But the work that it takes to make a profile also helps to actually find who you want to find, and for them to find you.
You have to actually know what you are looking for though, and ideally why.
I haven’t been to a chipotle, but it sounds from reading here that it offers the same thing Subway and Harveys do. No presumptions, no need to ask them to remove anything. You ask for exactly what you want, and as a bonus, you even get to watch it being made. For people that have allergies, sensitivities, and many of the various food related neurodivergencies, like super taster, hypersensory, ARFID… basically anything that makes you feel like a jerk ordering from other places, it’s refreshing that our order is easier rather than harder. Feel like less of a burden.
Ah sorry, guess I should have tagged it as sarcastic.
The microsoft store sells games? I thought that was only used to occasionally update your xbox for pc controllers by grabbing the xbox accessories app. Never seen the microsoft store otherwise.
No publicly traded company can compete with a well run private company. Infinitely growing profits breaks everything. Never take a company public if you can help it. It may even be preferable to shutter it if that is the only other option. Having stupid amounts of money is cool and all, but it does nothing useful. Money is only a tool if you actually use it… a golden hammer sitting on a shelf does no one any good.
That’s the “obvious plant” logo. A search of “obvious plant dylan” comes up with many much higher quality sources. Without needing to know how to reverse image search. “Dylan meme” also finds versions of it without needing to recognise the logo.
I guess that sort of protects them against detail leaks coming out the day before the video…
Was their goal to make it feel forbidden so the rebellious kids would ‘secretly’ learn typing?
Yeah, they had the choice between making an effort to be a better person, or simply deluding themselves that they are already better, all their negative traits are in-fact positive traits, everyone else is the problem for suggesting they aren’t already perfect.
Delusion is easier if you can trick yourself that easily.
I’m not sure I like milk as an analogy to torrenting, as a healthy torrent has the users uploading too…
It should, they are not giving any proper reason to, just trying to cheaply get more money from you wasting more of your time. They are wrong, they should feel bad. Making a video with the express purpose of trying to milk money out of it is not a successful strategy long-term. Making good content that people want to watch to the end without being told to is much harder, but actually works.
“Wait for the end” or “the last one will shock you” is because the video gets an algorithm bump if people watch it all the way to the end. Only reason. To make more money.
Thank you for taking updates as seriously as you do. Making sure to only update when it is overall a good idea to do so. I’m sure you get no shortage of flak for being out of date. Thank you for being able to stand up to that.
Your well thought out decision process on everything is what reassures me I found a good home. And your open and honest posts about every major decision are nice to read when I initially disagree with a decision made, until I see why it was made.
Just so anyone that had to suffer through this knows, the company that makes them, that you have to order them through, always makes sure to remind buyers that they will likely need at least 10% left handed ones too. Because, of course, they made left-handed ones. If your school didn’t have left-handed ones or didn’t have enough, that was a choice they made.
Some of them are automatic, in that they use the deceleration from letting off the trigger to let out more string. So if you have one of those ones and are constantly turning it on and off in short spurts, it would eat up string pretty fast. Best to do a swath and only let off when you want more string or are completely done. The automatic ones tend to be more intended for heavy duty use, rather than single yard use.
