The battery in my 13 Pro is absolute toast. I was thinking of upgrading but really, what benefit is there?
It’s no lighter, it’s thicker, the performance may be faster on paper but I doubt I’d notice.
Maybe I’ll just replace the battery and wait a few more years.

You can mount drives against folders in windows. So while D: is one drive, D:\Logs or D:\Cake can each be a different disk.

A cancer diagnosis and complications from chemotherapy. It’s been rough on her but she’s an absolute trooper.
Since September my wife has had about ten CTs, three MRIs, two major surgeries (the last one 7 hours long), one emergency surgery, weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatments and about 8 weeks hospitalised including some time in the ICU.

Unless you count the cost of parking when I visit her in hospital, in which case I’ve spent about $170 USD
This is in New Zealand with a publicly funded health system.
I bought 100 on AliExpress 8 years ago, for like $5. Will take a few years yet to use them all.
Oh not their phones. Their $1799 14” MacBook Pro.
Phones are coming with 12GB and Apple are still only putting 8Gb in their ‘pro’ line.

They’ve been doing it for decades at this point. No idea why people buy Samsung appliances.
Then again even Bosch and Miele have started using plastic welded drums which prevent repair of simple parts like bearings and motors so… Fuck us all I guess.
