I held onto Windows 7 even a year or two past so-called the EOL. I had a pretty powerful rig and I wasn’t going to pay money to upgrade. Then I think Microsoft just gave Windows 8 for free?
I finally got on Windows 10 when I bought a premade gaming computer. Still not upgrading.

They “say” they don’t feed it to AI. But Dropbox is bleeding money since 2018 and at some point, will be sold to the highest bidder and from that point, you might as well just store your data on somebody’s random website.
I was at a bar a while back and the talk stuck with me. He was a Israeli who moved to America about twenty years ago and still visits Israel to see his family.
