I literally read all day, this would be fantastic. Books. Visual media has subtitles and usually is something I’m gonna Google further while watching/playing. I mostly consume text based social media and news.

What I also gathered from the article (for further context) is that these are the same lawyers who tried to the other 2 cases of piracy on reddit. This time the argument is that it is not a violation of the first amendment right because they want the data to go after the ISP

In my experience if you’re only finding one or two apartments in your price range out of a ton…

1. You can’t afford to live there. Everything costs more. Sales tax, gas, groceries, water, all entertainment, etc

2. Those places you can afford probably don’t exist or are cheap for a very good reason (bad area/property)

I suggest looking around closer to you or where you have a saftey net or support, then look in those areas. Research the city look for lgbtq events or clubs etc. I hope you find your little haven !

I am not a lawyer but isn’t this something that is technically illegal? Or perhaps not, do donations need to be truthful in plain terms of how the funds are used ?

The only way I can see donating to reddit could be argued as helping/supporting contrubiters by having the platform and audience available.

Thank you for explaining why so beautifully. I tried watching the show and while it was very well done, for whatever reason I just wasn’t getting into it. But all people ever say is how great it is and I was bummed I was missing out. I have seen enough of the show to see the threads leading to what you described. I understand now why it is so highly praised.
