  • If your dust analogy stands, why do you clean your ass? The poop is just going to come back.

I’m obviously not suggesting you stop cleaning your ass, but rather reassess how you see necessary regular menial tasks.

Nobody likes them, but they are what they are. Regular and necessary. You can even start to like them by meditating on task itself, and by expressing gratitude towards the conclusion, which in this example is a nicer cleaner space to live.

False. It’s too late. We’re a month away from the election. Vote Kamala, the lesser evil, then join the Bernie campaign or the DSA to make some real change over the next 4 years. Now is pragmatically not the time for such battles. Know when to fold em.

Yes you absolutely should. If you can effortlessly vote for the lesser evil in a way that doesn’t take anything away from the other fight, just do it real quick. Any argument to the contrary is accelerationism.

If you are an accelerationist, then get bent, you’re wrong.

  • While I don’t think you’re wrong, they are talking about different things. One is how you’re doing despite being working class. Are you a making it? Keeping your head above water? A dentist or engineer making $250k+? Do you struggle to eat or clean yourself every day?

The other is how do you make your money. Do you work for it or do you exploit for it. Were you simply born into it?

People see themselves through a bias filter. Doesn’t make it true. People don’t like to call themselves lower class even when they are. Especially when they were probably raised middle class, because that paints a picture of failure.

If you struggle with rent or groceries you are lower class. If you’re making minimum wage you’re lower class.
