Sounds similar to the months before my T1 diagnosis at 27. More and more thirsty, less and less hungry. Water would fly through me too, making me suddenly have to pee not long after drinking.

SR4 was also way better written and acted than it had any right to be.

Outlook’s own reaction handling is terrible. It adds the reaction icon to the email, but it doesn’t mark it as unread or bring it to the top. The next day, I get an email with all the reactions for the day.
“Available for a meeting at 9 tomorrow?” 👍
Then the daily digest shows up at 9 and the meeting was never scheduled.

Ties to groups, not motives.
Even motives aren’t that clear-cut, however. There’s significant infighting between rival far-right influencers. They are effectively cults. It’s also possible for a center-right person to see Kirk as a face of the Republican shift from conservative to fascist.

My understanding is that rightsholders didn’t take it seriously, so content was cheap to license in the early days of Netflix streaming. That’s no longer the case.

I’ve done it before on something else. It does need to be bit-perfect, but ROM’s are one of the easier things to find bit-perfect matches for.

There are some excellent C&C mods available now. Here’s two:
Combined Arms is a Red Alert mod that brings in GDI and Nod and does a lot of interesting things. Campaigns for all factions as they deal with the upheaval that is a second war being overlayed over the war they were fighting.
Mental Omega is a Red Alert 2 mod that reimagines the expansion pack, Yuri’s Revenge. Heavy faction overhauls and a full campaign. There’s also a second mod that goes on top of it that remakes the entire Red Alert 2 campaign using the improvements of Mental Omega. It tells the same story, but all of the missions have been recreated with more complex and varied design.

It’s sort of like the dual pronunciation of the word ‘a’ in English. While that has more distinct rules, it’s still mostly which one feels nicer.

Summary: They were seeing a disconnect between Arkham Asylum player stats and sales, indicating a large portion of the playerbase blasting through the game then selling it back to retailers. WB studios were directed to explore ways to lengthen player engagement, preferably enough to keep the game forever.
The nemesis system gives some light procedural flair to an otherwise-deaigned experience. I don’t think it did what they hoped it would, but it was still a great mechanic.
Don’t use a mist humidifier. They suck. Use an evaporative one and add bacteriostat to the water.
Mine is a tub of water with a wick in it. It has a fan that blows air across the wick. That’s it.

The other dev/wife did QA and part of the mapping. It’s a bit hard to finish a game without your programmer/designer.

The handheld PC market is still small. Nobody else in the digital space has taken it seriously yet.
If you look at iOS, you’ll see what I’m talking about. It’s effectively two products, a piece of hardware and a digital store. To beat it, you have to beat both the hardware and the store at the same time. It took the entire mobile hardware industry forming an alliance with one of the largest software companies in the world to even try to compete with it.

If SteamOS comes to dominate the handheld market, I could see them being forced to make an API so that other stores like Epic and GOG can have the same quality of integration in the non-desktop interface.
If you have two products that are both the best at their respective thing and you tightly integrate them, it makes it incredibly difficult for a competitor to match you. That is abusing a monopoly in each space to benefit the other.

POS is an English acronym. It stands for Point of Sale. The proper term would usually be POS Terminal, but it’s often shortened to POS.
Super Mario 64 DS had you sitting at a poker table in a casino playing poker. New Super Mario Bros had the same poker game, but I’m not sure if that one was in a casino. PEGI rated both of them 3+.
Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros both include poker. PEGI rated them 3+.

Microsoft now installs games in an unprotected directory because people were so annoyed they couldn’t use the mods made for other storefronts.
Excel functions are translated. This leads to being pretty much locked out of any support beyond documentation if your system language isn’t English.

If you haven’t, check out Combined Arms. It is an OpenRA mod that brings in a lot of units and design from RA2, Generals, and C&C3.
The only real impacts it has had are making me pay more attention to how I feel and more intentional about how I eat. I’m not going back for seconds just because they are there since I consciously decided that my initial portion was a good amount. I’m also not going a day without eating since it didn’t cross my mind because I can see that little line slowly go down and it reminds me that food is good.
Modern tech is amazing. The management of T1D has been reduced to a glance at my phone every once in a while and a couple keystrokes when I eat something.
I was talking to someone recently who was diagnosed as a little kid and the stuff that they went through sounded awful. Their adult management of it is no better than mine is for having gone through that.
