FYI, you can run Heroic in game mode by adding it as a non-Steam game and install from there without having to go into desktop mode. It’s nice to have options though

As someone who has never heard of Graal, despite being plenty old enough to have done so, what would you suggest for the best files to download? Can you give a quick summary of what the game is and why it’s fun to play?
So out of those users who have both read and voted on this post, 60% voted negatively. It’s safe to assume that the majority of people who did both are those who feel strongly one way or the other about the issue, and statistically it’s more likely that those who disagree will vote, as those who are angry about something tend to be the most vocal. Unfortunately we have no easy way of knowing how many users who read the post don’t care one way or another.
In addition, Lemmy.world has around 21K users per month, and out of those around 1.5K users voted negatively. That’s around 7% of the monthly users who disagree with this news. Hardly a majority.
Do you have any figures to show that the majority of the users on this instance are in favour of piracy? Or do you just assume you’re in the majority?
If every single user of Lemmy.world, or even a significant majority, leaves because they’re no longer able to discuss piracy, I’ll fight both Zuck and Musk in a cage match. It’s all hot air from a very vocal, overly entitled minority.
Sooo… you’d rather someone else do all the work and take on the burdens, but do it the way you want them to do it without contributing in any way?
Why do you assume that only US law applies here?
You’re kidding nobody.
What surprises me is that people think making a community specifically for illegal activity isn’t a problem, and that they should only be called on their behaviour when a copyright holder notices them. There are plenty of places to go for piracy online, so what’s the need to add a community for it here? Or are you people claiming a piracy community wasn’t primarily intended for piracy?
Better yet, I’d like the option to automatically boot into desktop mode when I’m hooked up to a display, complete with desktop-specific settings.
Choose a lower difficulty when starting the game. It turns it from a hopeless immediate struggle for survival into a fun exploration, farming and building game with the occasional pocket of zombies to deal with.
Play an even smaller game.
