how programmers see other programmers?

this isn’t very reliable as it relies on someone (be it real person or a bot) to archive the specific post / answer.
if your post / answer gets in the front page or all or popular, there might be a chance, but if it died in ‘New’ ? fat chance there’s an archive for it.

I haven’t found any difference as well, it could be that basic pdf is just pdf with reduced functions, like without bookmarks, linkings, and less image pages like covers.

have you tried to download both files and comparing the differences?

better to just keep growing slowly rather than having massive capital and quick improvements only to be killed later by Meta.

basically

1. the game use old .bin disk file, you must convert it to .iso
2. mount the .iso
3. run the setup.exe to install Civilization II

also the reason you can still find a dialogue window from like Win95 lol, people often whine how Windows doesn’t look as pretty as MacOS, but I think that’s just the price for crazy backwards compatibility.

if they remove those old elements, I’d bet people are gonna rage about how their old games or software no longer work.
