As a complete usenet newbie (I usually torrent all my linux iso) is there any caveat to getting that bulknews 6 TB block deal to last me for an eternity as a backup? It seems too good to be true.

I can recommend Btrfs for testing distros on bare metal. You can install them onto subvolumes without needing to change the physical partition layout, then once happy with one delete all the other subvolumes to reclaim your space. Only downside is not all distros’ installers support them natively so it needs some manual work occasionally.
and the screen can safely be overclocked from the base 60 Hz up to to 70 Hz with minimal effort
Ohh I’ve been waiting for an updated overclock since SteamOS 3.6 broke the old one, thanks for making me aware. One of my favorite mods.
Haven’t used it in a while but from what I remember it always puts you in idle if you do something else and only back to online if you do something in Discord itself, as expected from the Wayland limitation.
It could be implemented with the ext-idle-notify-v1 protocol.
I’ve looked through the repo and it seems to be used to check for the current OpenRazer version and to get a list of supported devices and download images of them from Razer servers.
Whenever this meme pops up again I’m at least somewhat comforted this isn’t the first year like this.
This is so important, especially as we live in an age where tech being churned out that ends up as paperweight is the norm. Being solidified in the Linux kernel we know this thing will live on for decades until in 2080 they will pull the plug on the x86 architecture and you’ll be one of the 3 people still around to remember it
Either through Steam Cloud as others have already said, or something like Ludusavi.

I’m quite thankful there’s so many people willing to pay the full price to beta-test so I can later get it for 90% off with all bugs and performance issues fixed.
Sports like boxing come to mind where 3rd place isn’t fought for, it’s just bronze for both losers of the semifinals.
Neither do according to their respective docs.
Personally though I would’ve preferred an updated* test with more realistic hardware and zstd compression enabled cause this tested configuration is pretty rare in the real world.
* Their last btrfs compression benchmark was on Linux 4.11 in 2017 it seems, on a 120 GB Sata SSD.
Amazing project, I went to try it immediately and it really just works. This is what I always wished Sunshine was like.
Every time so far in a case like this I’ve had the trial still run for the remaining time after cancelling. I think it’s just a dark pattern to scare you out of cancelling early.
mmmm final fantasy 6 encoder
A tale as old as VR, I’ve been in it since 2016 and it was Oculus exclusive after another back then. Same thing now just under a different company name.
My experience with it privately as well, and for Fido2 it says my system/browser is unsupported (Linux/Firefox) when it works on literally every other site.
DRM-free Windows games, but mostly older titles since the performance overhead is pretty large. Something like Fallout 3 or Oblivion will run at playable frame rates.
Wine through Box64 is something you can already do on top of Android, either directly through Termux or something like Winlator. Lots of incompatibilities though… even installing Steam is only barely possible through hacks.
This seems more like a leechbox than a seedbox, only up to 10 active seeding torrents on the highest plan? That limitation negates the “Unlimited Seeding” perk and so does the seeding time limit.
