Remember when we made fun of the Mypillow guy for spouting election conspiracy bullshit? Man, those were good times.

Sure, it feels better to go down the conspiracy rabbit hole than realize we probably shouldn’t have put up an animated corpse up against trump until it was too late.

Gustave’s design is basically a pretty boy (Robert Pattinson) with a moustache (rugged). But he gives off the right vibe visually!

The writing and voices done for the characters was exceptional and that’s what makes the biggest impact on me personably. The only gripe I have is that the lip synch for all the characters was like waaay off but that’s forgivable in the context of everything else :>

That would be a credible excuse if this were the first time it happened. But it’s at least the fourth time it has happened. They seem to be going for the “steal first and then ‘do right by the artist’ if they get caught” route of design 🙄

Who knows what else they’ve lifted from artists that just haven’t caught on yet.

I love Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! Really shows how far devs with a vision can take things when unshackled from their corporate overlords.

The music is absolutely stunning and there’s even a 10 minute mini documentary on how they put together the sound track that’s pretty fascinating to watch!
