Flipping damage control, 18 is absolute garbage. For example Auto-correct has been extremely confused since the upgrade, especially on multi-language devices. Photos is even far worse, unbelievable trash. So I have little need for that AI stuff, let alone trust in it.
Nah, he rich, check his wads of cash bottom left. Guy can afford the best.
Guy was loaded, maybe another insurance company doing a hostile takeover?
AI steali…I mean harvesting, pardon learning
Windows NT SP6a maybe? Hah. 6 was such a disaster, remember that one?
I’ve worked in it for 30+ years and I will assure you, if you want people to come to the office in this day and age, just in case something critical might fall over, you’re doing it wrong.
It’s no longer the age of kernel panics on your sluggish HP D9000 anymore. Although… where the f did I put the boot tape again now… fml. Effing tapes dammit.
I hope it’s never changed, absolutely fabulous
Chuck in some parking lots and a cashier, and voila, more money to be made.
Troma is terrific. Also, did someone mention “Blood Sucking Freaks”? No? Good, no one should mention that.
Best way IMHO is copy all the files to another disk, double check and then format the partition into your favourite filesystem, and copy everything back. NTFS can be a bit of trouble.
Now you’re just insulting actual apes
VBox could be nice, but Oracle is on a licensing hunt for people who install the extension pack on potentially work-related systems. Technically it is free for personal use, but is like explicitly inviting the vampire into your home - nothing might happen, but you wouldn’t know until the moment you have 2 tiny holes in your neck.
It could also be a case of severe addiction; I’ve too often been at (different kinds of) performances where people felt the need to play games or watch sports (at their kid’s school play no less), too often for adhd. And many times it’s a boomer, so the screen goes on max brightness for visibility.
My first thought was “Dwight? Dwight Schrute??”
Oh man, the memories… it wasn’t so long after “Best of Both Worlds” aired for the first time, that the Bill Gates of Borg meme was going viral on BBSs and Usenet. Oh how we laughed… and cried, for it was funny but true.
Ah indeed, I was talking about the screenshot. Sorry about the confusion.
