There are a few platforms. Nebula, Floatplane, Peertube. I think Patreon allows you to host videos directly on their platform too.
But none of these platforms offer free access plus a built-in ad function.

“work” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here when talking about a Fairphone. Worst phone I ever owned with quite some margin.
Generic degoogling/google alternatives video from Pewdiepie, but he won’t get rid of Youtube.
True, I just wanted to clarify that by default Linux doesn’t run on an RT kernel.
And tbh, an RT kernel is really not desirable for most applications, which is why it’s not default. All these RT guarantees cost a lot of performance, and in most cases a guaranteed latency is not worth losing performance over.
In fact, using an RT kernel would be just the opposite of what you’d want on a gaming system.
Hey, at least it gives you somewhat coherent answers. Copilot chat for me is less helpful than the Amazon customer service bot.
Unless you use an RT kernel, Linux is not a realtime OS and certainly not a true one.
Because, you know, terms have a meaning.
Traditional worm-type malware doesn’t really exist on windows anymore either.
Two things can be true at the same time:
And GNOME is not alone with that problem, it’s prevalent in the large majority of apps and platforms, because accessibility is really hard especially if you don’t have a tester with the specifically accessibility need on staff.
OOP says they have a legally blind and a semi-blind person on staff, but that’s by far not the only accessibility issue. Accessibility is much more than just screen reader support.
A big one is learning difficulties, and for that, having an UI that can be used the way the user wants/expects/knows how to is very important. And here, the very concept of an opinionated DE contradicts accessibility.
Not surprised that OOP knows better what users need than the users. That’s pretty much the whole concept of “opinionated” GNOME.
GNOME isn’t even accessible to non-disabled users.
Thanks for stealing copying the whole content so I don’t have to click the link!
Is there any decent way to run Plasma Mobile in Termux by now?
I got you beat with my HP Mini running a 32-bit Intel Atom N270 that I use to develop games for the open source physiotherapy gamification device I made for my kid when I’m on the train.
Don’t want to carry my full-size gaming laptop to work just to do some light lua coding.
And that’s 60W while charging. In idle with the screen off, low end laptops often consume as little as 2-3W. Which is not far off from a pi.
It really is.
In that case, woosh me. Just wanted to make sure nobody takes that as an actual advice.
That’s what you got emoji for.
Terrible idea for a few reasons.
I guess you meant that as a joke, but people are really doing this and it leads to actual problems.
I saw a news report a while ago about something like that being done in a database for people with outstanding debt. If the address of the debtor wasn’t known, they just put “US” in the form, and the program automatically entered the centre of the US as the coordinates.
Sucks for the family that lives there because they constantly get threatening mail and even house visits from angry lenders who want their money back. People even vandalized their house and car because they believed that their debtors lived in that house.
Zionism is the one thing where anti-semites and Jews (at least zionist Jews) agree.
Zionist Jews want it because it gives them their own country where they are not persecuted.
Anti-semites want it, because it means that the Jews are not in their country.
That’s why even the literal Nazis supported zionism. Every Jew in Israel was one less Jew in Germany.
You get the same thing still today with the most right-wing politicians supporting Zionism/Israel. On the one hand because it’s a way to keep Jews far away and on the other hand because it can be used as a “I’m supporting Israel, so surely I can’t be a Nazi. Anyway, let’s go shoot some Muslims.”-kind of excuse.
Unless you are actually using your PC. Setting up everything involves much more than just installing the OS. If I want to get all my apps working and my data transferred to where it needs to go, and all my peripherals and stuff running, it takes me a day or two.
That’s why I’m still stuck on a distro with more issues than things going for it.
Yeah, might be.
Dailymotion should be a non-issue to get into though. It’s got free user access, it’s the 9th biggest content site by active users worldwide and I don’t think they have selective creator recruiting practices.
