What are peoples preferred alternatives to use with stemio?
As others in this thread I literally just paid for 6 months on Realdebrid Woop!

I realised you were and whilst I do agree with what you are saying they have been so consistently bad for us in the last three years of living where I do that I refuse to believe it is just one bad or lazy person.
Ive had plenty of interactions with many different people both at my door, via email and at the sorting office and they have all been anywhere from not caring to unhelpful all the way to down right rude to both me and my my partner.
So whilst I had your attitude to begin with them they have worn me down to the point where I point blank dislike them. I go out of my way to make sure I dont order anything that uses them as a carrier any more because I want things delivered to my door and not have to walk 5km to pick it up within a two hour window.
Maybe it is an issue with processes or management or something further up the line but that doesnt excuse the way I’ve been treated and spoken to by multiple different employees of theirs.
I’ve done plenty of shitty public facing jobs and so I dont want to immediately make anyone’s day worse for something that they can’t help but they are all a part of the whole and a lot of their attitudes (at least local to me) fucking suck so I am done giving them the benefit of the doubt.
Sorry I can’t offer any insight into why your issue is happening, maybe they are generally better in your area but for me I couldn’t find a reasonable reason as to why they were so consistenly terrible here. I’m not angry anymore and have accepted it but I still think they are a bunch of useless cunts, at least around here.
Sorry for filling your thread with what you were trying to avoid. My bad. I hope you get your parcel before Christmas :)
Recently I answered the door to one and he exclaimed “you are lucky I came down your stairs, most of my colleagues refuse to” which explained why we have been getting more red slips in our small outdoor post box that is situated at the top of the stairs. What it didn’t explain is why the fuck the rest of them “refuse to”
Our stairs are identical to all the others on this street, do they refuse to go down all stairs in this street? I dont know.
To exacerbate this problem the sorting office to collect stuff from is open only 2 hours most days in a major UK city. Fuck the royal mail, they are useless cunts. I think they decided to try and compete with the likes of yodel for most useless delivery company.
I added two alternatives last night -
https://mediafusion.elfhosted.com/configure
https://knightcrawler.elfhosted.com/configure
They both gave me links and worked exactly as torrentio did when working. Maybe give them a try.
When I did this recently I used Lexicon DJ management (as I’m a DJ and it has lots of other features I was using too).
There are a few options to choose from in terms of how it searches and how strict it is when trying to find duplicates. I’m not sure which features are available on the free version, I paid just for one month to sort out a lot of things within my DJ library but it may be worth looking in to to see if it can serve your needs :)
edit to add more info
Website says - “With Find Duplicates you can scan all your tracks in your library and automatically compare them based on the audio signature or tags. This way truly identical audio duplicates are found. This even works with different file types. If you have an MP3 and a WAV with the same audio, Lexicon will match them and lets you choose which one you want to keep.”
So it doesnt just scan filenames it compares the audio files themselves to weed out duplicates.
I use AirVPN and see others who are happy and recommend it. I moved from mullvad due to them stopping port forwarding and have been happy ever since.
I am aware of mental omega but have never actually got around to giving it a go to see what it is like, last I looked at it was quite a long time ago now too!
Something different - Lorn - Just listen to everything xD
To stay more hip hop
Cult of the Damned and all of their side projects, Lee Scott is a fucking son and pretty much everything he touches is gold. My particular favourite is the “Cult Mountain” side project.
All good man, appreciate the reply. I’m tempted to give it a go now and see if I can set up my own hybrid control mapping using the touchscreen as a mouse and attach a keyboard to see what kind of experience that offers, I feel like it could either be decent or horrendous but worth a try xD
Oh really? I imagined it just to be the “elite” type players left.
Not my sweet France!! XD
I’m gonna have to check this out and see what’s up with it at some point. Thanks for the info
Yeh I didn’t imagine it was be that enjoyable but then I could have been wrong.
I was aware of cncnet but didn’t realise they had made a balance patch. To be fair it has been a long time, maybe i should revisit, although online I’d get absolutely stomped these days I’m sure.
It is bliss in comparison to all other options!
My city has a mix of every possible configuration, from no cycle lane, randomly abruptly ended ones, shared paths and the properly separated ones and I would take a properly separated bike lane over all else any day of the week. It is safer for literally everyone involved!
Not really, cycle lanes should be part of a road and not a pedestrianised area. All cycle lanes that go along side footpaths with no clear division other than lines just end up being full of idiots obliviously walking unaware of their surroundings.
This is both frustrating as a cyclist and dangerous as bikes move at much higher speeds, especially with the advent of electric bikes allowing unfit people who are not used to controlling a bike and being aware of their surroundings to ride at much higher speeds.
Pedestrianised areas should be for foot traffic only, bike lanes should have their own place alongside roads. The best ones I have used have a curb either side so the footpath is higher than the cycle lane on the left and the road is lower than it on the right making a clear division of traffic.
The fucking worst ones are shared paths and ones with just a line to denote a cycle lane next to busy pedestrianised areas. It is safer to ride on a road with no cycle lane than to try and contend with idiot foot traffic paying no attention, looking at their phones etc.
Cthulu Nigiri maybe?
Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn
Couldn’t agree more, bikes belong on the road not on pedestrian pavements!
These delivery drivers are a fucking scourge as well. I have had a few run ins this year with them driving their mopeds through pedestrian areas.
I hope the council do clamp down on this bullshit behaviour but also invest in cycling infrastructure too. I’m lucky where I live has a pretty good network of cycle paths but it is still lacking.
And thus the perfect example of the subject of this thread was provided.

Red Alert 2 was the last good Command and Conquer game in my opinion, I know Generals had a big following but I couldn’t get into anything after RA2.
How did it play on the steam deck? I’ve been playing a bit of Tiberium Sun lately but RA2 will always be my favourite, it could use a bit more balancing in multiplayer though.
Soggfy is still working as of right now.
