They supposedly can be disabled in settings- but we all know that won’t last. They’re going full Microsoft Skype mode and it’s only a matter of time.

Yup, I realized that :) I do believe discord has just about all the features IRC can offer. And then some, of course. But that isn’t saying much, considering IRC is one of the earliest uses of the internet.
