      I’m not, really. They’re one of our largest operating expenses and we’re trying to work on reducing our log output to reduce the cost.

      For what they do I’m not aware of any players in the space that come anywhere close, though.

        For capturing logs? Splunk, Dynatrace, etc. There are a lot of companies that do it better and cheaper.

      Yeah. I wouldn’t have guessed.

      Maybe they’re not? It feels like these deals, in technology, are usually due to investors gambling that two unprofitable companies smooshed together will strike gold.

    GitLab has such a strong work from home culture that I wish more companies would adopt, I hope they don’t lose that if they’re sold.

      They’re also very open and transparent. Work, guidelines, workflows, etc.

      It’s a shining example of an alternative kind of company, and it’s insightful and a great resource of information.
