Also managed a cheeky run after having a couple of weeks off after having shin splints, in which I’d had a three week break before that due to surgery I had. It was a very slow 5k but just a bit of a shakedown to make sure my calves and shins don’t still hurt!
Yup, felt happy just doing 5. My last attempt at a run I managed a mere 2k before giving up as my shins were killing. This time they were totally fine, but my quads were aching since my wife has been dragging me to the gym!

mate good effort, that’s five kilometres more than you’ve done for the last three weeks so it doesn’t matter how long it took. Absolute legend!
