That’s a weird strawman. I’ve never heard anyone use that argument to justify dismissing the Communist Manifesto. Like ever. Nothing close to it in fact.
I’ve been told several times to stop “wasting time” with Marxism-Leninism because the foundational writing is old, and that instead we need “new theory,” as though we can’t carry what’s useful from the old while adapting to new conditions (which is core to Marxism-Leninism anyways).
