That’s a weird strawman. I’ve never heard anyone use that argument to justify dismissing the Communist Manifesto. Like ever. Nothing close to it in fact.
I’ve been told several times to stop “wasting time” with Marxism-Leninism because the foundational writing is old, and that instead we need “new theory,” as though we can’t carry what’s useful from the old while adapting to new conditions (which is core to Marxism-Leninism anyways).

And trust me… The Bible or Adam Smith is the constitution as far as some are concerned. There is either no issue with old documents, or cynicism/worry over the ones we have.

Quite a few changes were made to the manifesto, especially after the Paris Commune, but it’s also more of a propaganda leaflet to advertise the party platform, not a work of legal code nor an extensive exposition on Marxism. There’s also been numerous updates on Marxism over the years, most notably but not exclusively from Lenin, and socialist states have gone through numerous revisions in their legal code over the years as well.

Lol after watching the Mehndi Jubilee debate I can’t help but feel this is the next big bullshit push from Republicans masked as a lefty cause.
What I noticed with that debate is how many right wing people were 100% on board with getting rid of the constitution. They fucking hated it. Maybe it’s a coincidence but I find it funny I’m now seeing posts like this. I suspect there will be more coming and the conversation will be pushing towards actually ripping up the constitution (except for the 2nd)

We all know that groups like Cambridge analytical, heritage foundation, TPUSA and others are relentless with their online social media presence and actively work to shape pop culture with their views. Including making the left either look insane or distracting them enough too give their right wing views more access to the general public.

Advertisers build profiles on demographics to better manipulate them. You better believe these groups have the left figured out. You can’t directly prove it but you sute as fuck can see the results with how much ground and engagement the left have lost in the past 10 years.
