Huge amounts of CO2 is released into the atmosphere. The ocean base stores way more then any Forrest’s etc. 2020 study estimated trawling releases between 8.t to 9.2 billion tons a year.
And when those areas are depleted of life, I’m sure the UK is just going to go without…
