@Bronstein_Tardigrade@lemmygrad.ml @bubblybubbles@lemmy.ml It may have the most cameras per square mile, but the US has absolutely nill data protection laws (that actually work in any meaningful way), so they end up having “better surveillance” because they put the data together to spy on you better.
