It’s like Jellyfin but with a red UI.
Yes, GOS’s camera app is very good. And if you still don’t like it, you can use the proprietary Google camera app, with it’s internet connection disabled. In GOS, when you don’t give an app internet access, it cannot even connect to local services like Google Play Services, if installed, which is not the case in many other custom ROMs.
You can train or fine-tune a model on any GPU. Surely, It will be slower, but higher VRAM is better.
You will also have to recompile the official apps with the new domain/IP. And then keeping both updated. That’s too much work. I’d rather self-host Matrix without federation. Or XMPP.
A fork of Asahi Linux can be installed on iPhone X. Not sure about older ones. But you should look into it.
Edit - i am trying to find the source. Pretty sure i read it on lemmy.
Edit - take a look at this. https://github.com/HoolockLinux/docs
I get you. But say, a company has a policy that we give employees 2 paid leaves per month, for example, a woman can take those 2 paid leaves for the same reasons as the men do, but they would also need a day more of paid leaves to deal with the menstrual pain/stress. If that extra day is not defined as “menstrual leaves” men would argue that why are women getting more leaves, and hence the feminism thing will be broken as both are not treated fairly.
Same in the case of pregnancy. Companies give 2 months of paid leaves for that.
Or maybe the right thing to do is, just say, if you’re pregnant, you get paid time off, if you’re having periods you get paid time off. Do not include gender in it.
Idk man.
I am a feminist.
Feminism means all genders should be treated equal, but that does not mean men should also get paid menstrual leaves at their job. Equal rights, yes. Everyone should be treated fairly.

Can’t do it with random apps, but most FOSS apps, like Molly (fork of Signal), Element (matrix protocol), Tusky (for Mastodon), etc. use this.
I think using it for discord can be possible, but you would have to set up your own notification server. Like for Signal chats, there has to be another server between my notification server and Signal’s server (MollySocket), which listens to the notifications and sends it to my Ntfy. You will have to set something up that is always online waiting for new messages, and when new message arrives, it pings your Ntfy, and Ntfy pings your phone.
Ntfy exists. I use it for 3-4 apps.
