One day, yes. I budget accordingly and am lucky enough to be paid relatively well. But at the same time, I prioritize quality of life now because there’s no guarantee I’ll make it to retirement. Id rather retire later if it means better qol now.

I use Hugo and I’ve been pretty happy with it. It has a lot of layout templates you can use out of the box so you don’t need to learn a new templating language unless you want to do customizations. I write blogs in markdown and it’s automatically rendered and published.

Of course senior talent left, that was the point. It was a deliberate move to reduce headcount due to economic headwinds and over hiring. I was one of the people that left for this reason.

Not sure if this is sarcasm but can you explain how this relates to free speech?

I’m going to get downvoted to hell for half but as a long time Spotify user, I switched to YouTube music last year because of the recommendations. I guess it depends on what it listen to, but I found that Spotify if I listened to one thing for a while and then wanted to go back to what I was listening to a couple months ago, all my recommendations were the new thing, like they decided I just didn’t like the old thing anymore 🙁

I get this advice, but I hate this advice. I have a million things to do that take just a couple minutes. I never know when to stop!
