Times are hard and what not. Anyone do paid surveys, cashback offers etc? Any good ideas?

If you can find a place to do it for cash you can dontate blood, plasma, and sperm assuming you meet the qualifications they look for.

Bonus points: less blood = way more drunk, faster, for less beer

    1. Go to fleemarkets / yard sales.
    2. Look for old cameras / original walkmans / original watches, quality vintage stuff in general.
    3. Shamelessly look them up on eBay (check the “Sold Items” filter to see their true price). 3. Bargain a very low price.
    4. Go home.
    5. Take some decent pictures.
    6. Put then up on eBay for a much higher price than you paid.
    7. Profit.

Downside: Gotta wake up really early on saturdays. Upside: Potential to turn 5 bucks into 120 bucks.

My dad basicaly paid off our house that way.

Still solid advice, though I’m wondering if the “can pay off the house” part still applies post 2000

That started 2008. House was paid off over 10 years. At peak those eBay resales amounted to about 5000€ annually, but mostly around 2000€ anually. That extra tax free money came a long way in paying of the loan.
Of course the government caught on to people doing that and limits the amount of private sales you can make at 2000€ a year, before having to declare it.
Luckily, by that time, my dad had gotten himself a decently paying job and didn’t have to rely on that anymore, but if it wasn’t for years of grinding eBay it would’ve probably taken twice as long.

Paid surveys can be a rip off, I’ve spent 20 mins entering data only to be told I don’t fit the criteria for the survey.

Also testing software ‘can’ sometimes pay off. Early last year I did some beta testing and reported some bugs and made about £80. You get better choices if you can test on multiple platforms. Since then though, nothing or I’ve not been in the right category.

A couple of them I’d turned down as I wasn’t happy scanning my passport or opening a bank account to test. Also don’t use facebook, Instagram or TikTok, so that excludes me from some trials.

I’m getting plagued on my tester email daily for tests that pay $1 (yes one whole dollar!) but just delete those.

YMMV if you use FB etc. But you really do need to set up a spare email. In fact I think it was one of the steps to signing up.

DM me if you want their details.
