On behalf of everyone on Feddit.UK, we wish His Majesty a very happy birthday!
Celebrations are in order lads 🎂
I think Royalty and the Nobility should go back to the old ways - combat. Not the nations and countries militaries mind you, just Royalty and the nobility, battling it out against other Royal Families with sword, spear, shot, pike and bow.
A pay per view competition, globally for all Royal Families for the naming rights, the championship cup and a small percentage of the PPV fees and all the glory you can eat for the victors and a grizzly death for everyone else. The return of the warrior king.
You’re onto something
Sometimes I look at rich and influential people, and literally splooge myself over their inherent greatness.
Look at the sword. Look at that ring. Look at those ears. Not only a face a mother could love, but a whole adoring nation, ready to get down on our knees, unzip those royal garters and just go to town on that royal member.
The weight of responsibility, balanced with a diplomat’s wit, grounded by the sheer heft of the royal johnson keeping him firmly tethered to the plight of the working class.
That scrumptuous smile, so coy and yet so understanding, why if he were a duck I would eat him raw
Somebody, give this man a knighthood!
I’ve already bent the knee and received my royal liquid prize, I am not so greedy to demand more
Went from manhood to knighthood
Don’t do jack shit on my behalf please, especially honouring this irrelevence.
Already done
Fuck the monarchy. Fuck this snivelling pathetic show of fealty to someone who doesn’t know nor care about your existence. Fuck saying this is on behalf of everyone at Feddit.UK.
British citizens as His Majesty’s subjects bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles the Third, his Heirs and Successors according to law. Feddit.UK’s intended audience is His Majesty’s subjects within the United Kingdom, although I’m sure anyone is welcome.
This is an impressive amount of trolling, even for you Flax.
Feddit.UK’s intended audience is His Majesty’s subjects within the United Kingdom
No. The monarch doesn’t own me and I refuse to owe it anything. Hopefully one day the British state will get rid of the embarrassment of being headed by a family of nepo babies.
No, no we don’t
So you don’t obey the law?
British citizens as His Majesty’s subjects bear true allegiance to His Majesty King
The vast majority of us don’t do this, no.
Do you obey the law?
Yeah, but not because I bear allegiance to the monarchy.
But the law is passed in the King’s name
Like Prince Andrew?
What law did Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor break?
He settled, out of court, for the charge of sexual assault against Virginia Guthrie.
I’m also gonna preempt you saying, “hE WaS NeVeR CoNvIcTeD!”, because you and I both know that just because it doesn’t go through the courts, doesn’t mean you’re not guilty of something.
Do we have evidence that he knew she was being coerced?
If he wanted me to celebrate, he’d have made the day a public holiday.
You can celebrate at work 😉
Exactly why is he wearing war medals?
They aren’t war medals- medals can be given out for different reasons. He did serve in the Navy and the Air Force, though.
I looked it up, they are:
- Queen’s Service Order (New Zealand)
- Coronation Medal
- Silver Jubilee Medal
- Golden Jubilee Medal
- Diamond Jubilee Medal
- Platinum Jubilee Medal
- Naval Long Service Good Conduct (LSGC) (three additional service bars)
- Canadian Forces Decoration (three additional service bars)
- The New Zealand Commemorative Medal
- New Zealand Armed Forces Award
- Garter Star
So none of them are war medals
Is the “Queen’s service order” (presumably from his mam) basically just like when my mum gave me a sticker for helping do the washing up?
It is used to recognise “valuable voluntary service to the community or meritorious and faithful services to the Crown or similar services within the public sector, whether in elected or appointed office”. Considering as prince of Wales he was patron of many charities and even started his own affordable housing project in the UK, I’m sure it’s for something more than that
Yeah, I was just having a little joke - I actually have quite a lot of respect for his various environmental/social/other projects… but it’s still quite funny to get a medal from your mum :)
I’ll celebrate when he’s dead.
